Hey friends! It’s almost Halloween and my family is laughing so hard about today’s post. When my husband saw what I’m writing about he asked, “so we’re gonna be that house that hands out pencils and toothbrushes now?”
I don’t like candy. Well, I LOVE candy. But I realized 4 months ago that I’m addicted to sugar so I stopped eating it for a long time and now only eat it occasionally. I don’t want to be handing out candy I WANT to eat all night, to trick-or-treaters, on Halloween.
So that’s what got me thinking about alternatives. Then, when I learned about the Teal Pumpkin Project I realized I really wanted to be a part of that too since we have allergies in our family.

Fruitleather
I know you can get these at Costco but here’s some on Amazon 48 for $11.97.
Don’t laugh. My kids actually love these!
3
Organic juice boxes
You can buy a big pack at costco or these on amazon.
I know my kids would be thrilled to have something cold to drink while they’re running around trick-or-treating.

Stickers
Aren’t these cute? get 500 on amazon for $7. Just rip off one or a few per trick-or-treater depending on how many kids you expect to have!

Wikki Stix
These are cute little, bendable sticks for kids to create fun things with.
How fun would these be for your kids to play with once they get home after trick-or-treating?
6
Play Dough
On amazon you can get 30 of these small containers for about 10 bucks.
Feelin crafty? Make your own homemade playdough. Check out this post from OneKreigerChick

Coins
I mean, what kid wouldn’t be thrilled to get MONEY!?
(I’d save this for the younger ones though and maybe give older kids one of the other ideas)

Small Books
Maybe not ideal to give books to 100 kids but if you know you’ll only get a handful of kids, it might work.
Share with a friend that might need ideas for the Teal Pumpkin Project!
Do you have any other ideas to add to the list? What am I missing?
Thanks friends! Happy Halloween!
Peace.
What great ideas
